Here is the before and after of a portrait of my Aunt’s late (great) dog Tucker. The photo was taken at Christmas 3 years ago (3 sessions into my Brooks experience), it was seriously underexposed, and a JPG I might add, which is much harder to save than a RAW file. Any hoo, I did a bunch of fancy stuff, including putting 5 layers of the image [screened] on top of each other which lightened every thing up a ton, but then I had to brush some black over his fur to get rid of the awful greenish noise. Many, many steps were involved, but it was so worth it for such a cute picture and lovely lovely dog.

My cousin’s dog, Renold “Ren” is a cute little chihuahua that is always the life of the party. He is very popular and always has a lap to sit in and a face to lick. It’s been said that, “that dog is dirtier than money.” These photos were taken at a Christmas tree decorating party for my cousin.
