“This is how we do church!” Our community group was held at Dargan’s in Downtown Ventura on St. Patty’s Day. It was a memorable night indeed!

Part of my job at the Oxnard Union High School District is to provide photos for the district and school websites. I was asked to photograph ACHSand these are the photos that I came up with. All but the very last one are currently viewable on the site at www.camarillohigh.us. One thing I have been struggling with is how to balance my current style, which is dramatic light and abstract imagery (at least that’s what I’m attempting) with the glossy, stock-photo look you’d expect to see on a public school’s website.

This is a poster that I worked on for a couple of weeks during July and August. It took a long time and I am glad it’s (mostly) done. I never attempted anything like this before so I think it came out pretty great.

I haven’t been working on anything artsy lately, but today I felt compelled to make a composite of the pictures I took while in Chicago. I hope to post more fun stuff soon.
