It may sound like a cliche New Year’s Resolution for stereotypical Photog’ but I really want to carry my camera around with me all the time so I can capture moments otherwise missed but most importantly use my camera on a daily basis. I need to exercise my photographer’s eye.

I have a new fascination with capturing solar flares.


I first became interested in them while shooting a music video for my friend, I placed her in front of the video camera which was aimed directly at the sun. The result was beautiful, there were colorful rays of light, color circles and the flare even turned my friend different colors as well. Click here to see the music video.

Photos of the ride, SPEED, at the Orange County Fair. SPEED costs twice as much to ride compared to other attractions yet has the longest line, as well as the most amount of vomit on the ground surrounding the ride.
